Yerba Mate Picante

We’ve been working hard to find the right combination of ingredients to perfectly complement our newest Brazilian super tea. We’ve combined Yerba Mate (to learn more about it - or buy the straight stuff, click here) with native Rosella, pink peppercorns and black peppercorns, and boy are we pleased with the result. The earthy Mate contrasts beautifully with the tart Rosella (think rhubarb, plum, raspberry) with just the right amount of pepper to wake up your tastebuds. We think this one is excellent hot or chilled, you could even run it through a sparkling water maker after brewing and chilling and you’ll have your own carbonated Yerba Mate drink to compete with the many variations of canned Mate we’ve seen popping up in Australia lately!
